Julie has worked in the Social Housing Sector for over 25 years. Her career started with Scottish Homes where she spent seven years in various Housing Management related roles. Julie joined Molendinar Park Housing Association in 2000 as Housing Services Officer. Her responsibilities included all aspects of Housing Management, Shared Ownership/Shared Equity sales and administration and Development. Julie has a post Graduate Diploma in Housing Studies; Development and Regeneration. Julie progressed to the post of Housing Services Manager and following a rigorous selection process Director of the Association in May 2016.

Julie’s responsibility is the day to day management of the Association, to work closely with the Association’s board to manage and lead on delivery of the strategic aims and direction and management of the Association. To provide high level advice and strategic guidance to the Board and to ensure that all statutory, regulatory and legal obligations under housing and charitable law are complied with. She is also responsible to oversee all staff, ensuring that corporate objectives and values are effectively communicated and adhered to and to maintain and review the structures, systems and policies necessary to support effective service delivery and continuous improvement, and to ensure that these are properly implemented and monitored.

Scott has worked within the housing sector with over 20 years’ experience. He joined the Association in October 2001 as a Maintenance Officer.

In February 2019, Scott was appointed as the Association’s Asset Manager. This role means that Scott has overall responsibility for the strategic direction and management of the Maintenance Section.

Scott is committed to ensuring that our tenants and service users receive an excellent repairs and maintenance service. 

Scott works closely with the Director and deputises in her absence.

John has 29 years’ experience of working within the Social Housing Sector across Scotland. John started as a Housing Assistant in Greenock in 1993 and progressed his career to Housing Manger. John joined the Association in May 2022 and comes to Molendinar Park with a wealth of experience in all matters relating to Housing Management, legal, regulatory and governance requirements.

John is responsible for the Housing Management section including, allocations, debt management, Anti-Social behaviour, policy development and is committed to excellent customer service delivery.

John works closely with the Director and Asset Manger in relation to performance management, customer service and complaints.

Morag began her housing career with Scottish Homes in 1990.  Her first position was as a temporary secretary.  She gained full time employment in 1991 as a receptionist/clerical officer in the Arden office. 

Morag transferred to Scottish Homes Parkhead office in 1993 as a clerical officer in the Housing Benefit Section.  After a couple of years in the section she was promoted to Senior Clerical Officer for Housing Benefits which entailed overseeing all housing benefit cases, clerical staff and quarterly reviews.  She was seconded to Molendinar Park Housing Association in 1999 as part of the Dalmarnock stock transfer.  At the time of transfer in March 2000 Morag was officially employed by Molendinar Park Housing Association.

Although Morag is now Senior Housing Services Assistant she has worked within all departments of the Association in the 20 years of her employment with Molendinar Park Housing Association.

Molly Forrester completed a 2-year apprenticeship at Maryhill Housing Association. She worked as a Customer Contact Advisor whilst completing her studies. Molly worked towards and completed her SVQ Level 3 qualification in Customer Service. Molly is looking forward to meeting the tenants and being a part of the team at Molendinar Park.
